"Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others." -Danny Thomas-
Foster Grandparent Program
An intergenerational initiative that gives Foster Grandparent volunteers the opportunity to share a lifetime of experience with today's children and youth while remaining active in the community.
The Foster Grandparent Program began its legacy in 1972 and serves Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Volusia, and Flagler Counties. Foster Grandparent volunteers extend their love and wisdom, and devote time and attention to nurture an infant, a child, or a teenager who otherwise might not receive heartfelt sharing and caring.
The lives of countless youngsters have been enriched beyond measure as the grandparent volunteers lend a helping hand to foster character development, cultivate life skillfulness, promote educational growth and hearten an overall sense of well being. Read More About Foster Grandparent Program
